Police officers said that another tantrik from Surendranagar is on the radar in the case for allegedly providing the killing techniques to the witchdoctor, Navalsinh Chavda. Chavda allegedly procured a good quantity of sodium nitrite from a laboratory in Surendranagar. The substance would take effect 15 to 20 minutes after consumption and cause a heart attack or other sudden illness leading to death, he said.
Made people write suicide notes before killing
Police said Chavda made his victims write suicide notes before he killed them. A police officer said that he made a family from Rajkot and another from Surendranagar write suicide notes as part of tantrik rituals before killing them. Due to this, cops did not pursue the case further and filed closure reports.
