Jaisalmer: A 27-year-old worker died after falling from a boiler at the Rajwest Power Plant in Bhadresh, Barmer district, on Friday evening.
Despite being rushed to the hospital by colleagues, he succumbed to his injuries before arrival. The deceased, identified as Sandeep Singh from Tarn Taran, Punjab, was employed by Raj Fabricate, a contractor for Raj West Power Limited. The accident occurred while Singh was working on the boiler, reportedly losing his balance and falling. Rural police, led by SHO Vikram Singh Charan, reached the site after being informed of the incident.
The worker's body was kept in the mortuary at Barmer Medical College Hospital overnight. His family arrived on Saturday to file a formal complaint. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family. TNN
