Anmol Kharb progressed to the women’s singles final of the Guwahati Masters, a BWF Tour Super 100, on Saturday.
The 17-year-old Kharb defeated Mansi Singh 21-19, 21-17 in an all-Indian semifinal in 40 minutes. She will take on Chinese qualifier Cai Yan Yan in the summit clash.
In women’s doubles, top seeds and defending champions Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto beat China’s Keng Shu Liang and Wang Ting Ge 21-14, 21-14. The Indian duo will be up against Li Hua Zhou and Wang Zi Meng, another Chinese pair, in the final.

In mixed doubles, Dhruv Kapila and Crasto went down 24-22, 21-11 to China’s Zhang Han Yu and Bao Li Jing in their semifinal.
Later in the day, Sathish Kumar Karunakaran will face China’s Wang Zheng Xing in the men’s singles semifinals.
