Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB), in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), will organise a day-long workshop in Gandhinagar on Saturday to explore innovative financial instruments such as Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and municipal debt securities to drive sustainable growth in infrastructure development.
Representatives from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), securities depositories, merchant bankers, credit rating agencies, lending institutions, law firms, REITs, InvITs, and others will participate in the workshop, an official statement said.
The workshop seeks to identify actionable solutions to enhance private and public sector participation in alternative infrastructure financing. It will also provide an avenue for industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in leveraging these instruments to finance critical infrastructure projects, the statement said.
