Nagpur: The city police seized narcotics Mephedrone (MD) powder, worth Rs6 lakh, from a peddler identified as Yash Ingoley, 22, from a spot near Manepura Chowk on Gangabai Road Ghat on Thursday.
Police said Ingoley is part of the network of goon-turned-narco kingpin Dheeraj Malik, who has Mumbai links. Sources stated Malik, with seven offences of assault and robberies against him, turned to narcotics peddling in the last couple of years. Malik is believed to be on the run.
Ingoley was handed over to Kotwali police station.
