PVL 3 champion Calicut Heroes to participate at CAVA men’s volleyball club c’ship 2024 in Nepal

Calicut Heroes has been invited to participate in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Club Championship 2024, held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from December 7 to 14.

Calicut Heroes has been invited to participate in the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Club Championship 2024, held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from December 7 to 14.

After winning the Prime Volleyball League season three, where they triumphed over Delhi Toofans 15-13, 15-10, 13-15, and 15-12, the team from India will be led by Tamil Nadu veteran Mohan Ukkrapandian.

The tournament will feature five teams from four countries: Nepal, India, Iran, and the Maldives. Gandaki and Help Nepal will represent the host nation, while Iran’s Chadormalu and Club HDC from the Maldives will join the Heroes from India.

Each team will play against the others once, with the semifinals scheduled for December 13 and the final match on December 14. The sole rest day will be on December 10.

The Heroes will first take on Help Nepal in the opener on December 7. Their second match will be against Club HDC on December 9, followed by a clash with Iran Chadormalu on December 11, and a final group-stage match against Gandaki on December 12.
