A loader driver, Suresh Rajbhar, 34, was shot dead in Varanasi's Bajardiha locality on Thursday night. Following a dispute, his friends allegedly fired three bullets at his head and chest. Rajbhar succumbed to his injuries at BHU Trauma Center. Police are investigating and searching for the attackers. The deceased is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.
VARANASI: A loader driver, Suresh Rajbhar (34), was shot dead allegedly by his friends in a minor dispute in the Bajardiha locality under the Bhelupur police station area on Thursday night. The police are investigating the matter.
According to reports, Suresh used to sit with his local friends in the locality. The shooting incident occurred at midnight after an altercation.
Upon receiving the information, ACP Bhelupur Dhananjay Mishra, inspector-in-charge Vijay Shukla, and Chowki In-Charge Khojwa Saurabh Tiwari arrived at the scene. The injured person was taken to BHU Trauma Center.
The attackers fired three bullets at Suresh, targeting his head and chest. He succumbed to his injuries upon reaching the BHU Trauma Center. Following the incident, the police launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.
The deceased had two daughters and one son. According to family members, the crime was committed by people who were regularly in contact with Suresh.
