Patna: The railways has extended the services of Patna-New Delhi Sampoorna Kranti clone special (02393/02394) till December 31 to cope with the rush of passengers on the Patna-New Delhi route. The clone special runs daily except Thursday from Patna, and from the New Delhi-end except Friday, said Saraswati Chandra, ECR's chief public relations officer (CPRO).
Similarly, the services of the Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar clone special (05283/05284) were extended until December 31 to cater to the needs of passengers on this route. The special train runs daily from both ends on its scheduled operations, he said.
In addition, the railways announced that Patna-CSMT Mumbai Suvidha Express (82355/82356) will run with a new number (22359/22360) as a superfast train with effect from March 2, 2025. Likewise, Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Antodaya Express (15547/15548) will run with a new number (22553/22554) from March 3, 2025, the CPRO said.
The railways also decided to run the Saharsa-Anand Vihar Garib Rath special (05577/05578) till December 31. It leaves Saharsa every Thursday and Saturday at 8.30pm and reaches Anand Vihar on the third day at 2am.
On its return, it leaves Anand Vihar every Saturday and Monday at 5.15am and reaches Saharsa on the second day at 10.30am, he said, adding that the special train runs with a load composition of 16 coaches via the Narkatiaganj-Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Darbhanga-Supaul route.
