Mandya: Senior KAS officer BC Shivananda Murthy was appointed as the new additional deputy commissioner of Mandya. This decision was taken after ADC HL Nagaraju took leave.The govt issued an order on Thursday, appointing Shivananda Murthy, who previously served as the joint commissioner (markets) of BBMP in Bengaluru.
On Thursday evening, Shivananda Murthy assumed the charge as the ADC. Mandya DC Kumara confirmed that Nagaraju went on leave and Shivananda Murthy took charge as the new ADC.
Earlier, Shivananda Murthy served as the tahsildar of Srirangapatna and Pandavapura, as well as the assistant commissioner of Pandavapura sub-division. He also served as acting AC of Mandya sub-division. Additionally, he has experience as the acting deputy director of the tourism department and general manager of Mysugar, the Mysore Sugar Company.
