UPDATE: Boy, cabin still missing after boat’s discovery: Mobile County Sheriff
UPDATE (3:20 p.m.): Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch gave an interview to local media Wednesday afternoon regarding the discovery of a missing boat.
According to Burch, the boat was located about a mile offshore and was missing its cabin.
Burch said it is unknown if 7-year-old Hunter Slezak is in the boat’s cabin.
The searchers will continue their efforts to find Hunter through Wednesday night.
Burch said that due to the possibility of bad weather, they are concerned for the safety of all the searchers if they go out on Thursday.
MCSO and other agencies will be back out at sunrise tomorrow but may be limited in what they can do.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials have confirmed that the boat that three people went missing in Friday has been located.
UPDATE: Monroe County authorities join search for Hunter Slezak on Dauphin Island
The search for 7-year-old Hunter Slezak and the boat had been ongoing since Friday, Nov. 29. Hunter has not been found.
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said the cabin of the boat is not attached to the boat.
According to multiple law enforcement agencies, Michael Slazek, Sam Wooley and Hunter all went out shrimping on Wooley’s boat on Friday.
The United States Coast Guard was called around 7 p.m. Friday when the three did not return from their trip earlier in the day.
Michael and Wooley’s bodies were found Saturday along with some debris from the boat, but the boat and Hunter were not located.
Crews search for missing boater in Choctawhatchee Bay
The Coast Guard suspended its search Sunday; however, multiple agencies including the Mobile and Baldwin County Sheriff’s Offices, Daphne Search and Rescue and the United Cajun Navy are continuing their search efforts.
