Ponda: A female leopard cub, around a month old, was found at Kuncoliem in Ponda taluka on Thursday morning.
Ponda deputy conservator of forest Jiss Varkey said the cub must have separated from its mother. It was dehydrated and the forest officials have been hand feeding it so that they can reunite her with her mother. “We have posted some staff members at the village to know whether her mother comes in search of her cub,” Varkey said.
