Raymond Lifestyle has appointed Sunil Kataria as the new Managing Director of the company, following shareholder approval through a Postal Ballot on December 4, 2024. The resolution received strong support, with 86.85% of votes in favor and 13.15% opposing it.
Kataria, who has been serving as the CEO of Raymond Lifestyle (India & International) since March 2022, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Prior to joining Raymond, he was the CEO of India and South Asia at Godrej Consumer Products, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business. Kataria has also held senior positions in retail and telecom sectors, with a career that began at Marico.
Additionally, Gautam Hari Singhania has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of Raymond Lifestyle, formalizing his leadership role for a five-year term.
Singhania has been at the helm of Raymond Group as Chairman and Managing Director since 1990, contributing significantly to its growth and strategic direction.
