SHIVAMOGGA: Former CM BS Yediyurappa stated that the matter involving former union minister and Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal will be resolved through talks on Thurday.
While speaking with reporters in Shivamogga, Yediyurappa confirmed that rebel leaders would engage in talks with the party leadership to settle the matter. The issue will be resolved through mutual understanding, and all parties involved will meet to discuss and find a resolution, he explained.
Regarding the upcoming Belagavi session, Yediyurappa mentioned that the MLAs would collectively highlight the current government's failures.
On chief minister Siddaramaiah's comments about the ED investigation, Yediyurappa stated that the CM does not have the authority to challenge the procedures of the Enforcement Directorate. He further clarified that the ED has full authority, and its decisions are final.
Yediyurappa also disagreed with the CM's remarks, calling them inappropriate for someone in the position of Chief Minister. Additionally, he pointed out that Congress was unhappy with the Governor's decision to limit their authority.
