Chennai: TNCC President K Selvaperunthagai said the state govt should take precautions to avoid damage due to landslides in Tiruvannamalai in the future.
He urged the Union govt to release the 2,000 crore sought by the chief minister for relief work immediately.
In a statement on Tuesday, he expressed condolences to the landslide victims in Tiruvannamalai.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should treat all states equally when providing relief funds to states affected by natural calamities and release the funds sought by the state immediately.
