The London-based concept store Machine-A, known for stocking and supporting emerging fashion talent, has exited the Tomorrow Group portfolio with the help of private investors. Steven Ma, an accessories designer who has worked with Machine-A since 2019, has been named the director of the company and will look to hone the retailer’s approach to expansion in China. Founder Stavros Karelis will continue to be involved in the business.

The move comes after Tomorrow Group sold A-Cold-Wall to a distribution company backed by Fraser’s group in November, after acquiring the brand from founder Samuel Ross less than a year ago.
