Hyderabad: Locals staged a protest at the Aloor Gate accident site in Chevella, demanding justice for the families affected by Monday's accident that left four dead and four others injured. They also demanded widening of the road.
The protest, which began in the morning and continued into the afternoon, caused a traffic jam and the police had to deploy additional forces to regulate the traffic.
The locals withdrew their protest after the authorities assured them that the work would soon be speeded up.
