Ranchi: Police have arrested Zeeshan Sheikh (32), a member of the Sujit Sinha gang, for shooting and injuring two persons in Ranchi district's Ormanjhi area on November 22. Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha confirmed that Sheikh was also involved in an attempted murder case in Palamu. The incident occurred when two bike-borne criminals shot at Javed Ansari and Azad Ansari in Dahu village, leaving both injured. Police apprehended Sheikh using technical surveillance, while efforts are ongoing to arrest his accomplice. The motive behind the shooting remains undisclosed.
