Bokaro: Jharkhand Loktantrik Kranti Morcha (JLKM) is preparing to contest the forthcoming municipal elections, following its notable performance in the state assembly polls. "We have started planning for it," stated Vijay Kumar Singh, the organisation's central spokesperson and general secretary on Wednesday. "The postponement of municipal election is attributed to the ongoing OBC survey," Singh stated.
The party secured one seat whilst contesting 71 constituencies. It plans to concentrate on municipal corporations near village areas. Singh emphasised their commitment to fielding experienced JLKM members as candidates.
Under the leadership of Dumri MLA and JLKM chief Jairam Mahto, the party has emerged as a notable political force in Jharkhand. tnn
