Mysuru: The forester on Wednesday continued the combing operation to trace a tiger suspected to be roaming with two cubs in the surroundings of Shantipura and Chakahalli villages in HD Kote taluk of the district. The foresters carried out the combing operation with the help of thermal drones. However, the big cat and two cubs were not spotted. Even their movement was not recorded in camera traps. It can be recalled that on Sunday, the locals held a protest in Shantipura, demanding the foresters capture the big cat, which was prowling in the area for the past few days, creating panic among them.
