Patna: Magadh Mahila College (MMC) students on Wednesday learned how to use and apply the ‘Sathee' (Self-assessment, tests, and help for entrance examinations) portal and application at an orientation programme held on the college campus here. A large number of girls from undergraduate courses attended the event.
Sathee is an initiative launched by the Union ministry of education, in collaboration with IIT-Kanpur, to provide free guidance to students for various competitive examinations. It offers a range of resources, including reference video lectures, mock tests and other resources to support students' preparation.
State director of higher education Rekha Kumari and IIT-Kanpur's Edtech senior director Rahul Garg addressed the students and apprised them of the various features of this application. They asked the students to make use of this free app in their preparation for various competitive examinations.
MMC principal Namita Kumari welcomed the guests and students and shared her perspective on the significance of the ‘Sathee' portal and app, highlighting its potential to empower students in their academic pursuits.
The event was anchored by MMC students' council general secretary Ritambhara Roy. Sonal Priya proposed a vote of thanks.
