Prayagraj: To mark their protest against atrocities being committed on Hindu community in Bangladesh, a Jan Akrosh rally was taken out in city on Tuesday under banner of the Hindu Raksha Samiti. The volunteers also handed over a memorandum to the divisional commissioner. Scores of saints and citizens took part in the march and also demanded from the union govt to take corrective measures to protect the Hindus at the earliest.
The Jan Akrosh rally started from the District Panchayat Auditorium and ended at the office of the Prayagraj Commissioner (Divisional Commissioner). A large number of advocates, women, BJP and VHP workers, and akhara members participated in the march.
