Ludhiana: Five persons sitting inside a car, including three children, had a narrow escape when their car overturned, allegedly after being hit by a truck on Delhi-Amritsar national highway. Two of the injured are Neha Jain of Sherpur in Ludhiana and Saurav Jain from Jain colony. They were travelling to Ludhiana when their car was hit by a heavy vehicle. The truck driver managed to escape.

Narrow escape for bus passengers on Chanda-Gchiroli highway
A state transport bus en route from Pulgaon to Gadchiroli faced a technical failure in its steering mechanism near Saoli on the Chandrapur-Gadchiroli highway. Driver Pradeep Shirsat managed to avert a major mishap by applying the brakes, stopping the bus with minor injuries to a few passengers. The injured were hospitalized, and the remaining passengers were transferred to another bus.
