Ranchi: Two assailants were arrested on charges of killing one Rohit Tirkey on October 12, police said.
SP (City) Raj Kumar Mehta on Monday said the two accused, identified as Mantosh Kumar ( 25) and Ayush Raj (24), were arrested from Piska More by Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy. The two are residents of Piska More.
Tirkey (22) was assaulted by the assailants after an argument broke out among them near New Market Chowk under Kotwali police station limits. Tirkey died during treatment in the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims).
Raids were on to nab three other accused in the case, police added.
