Skimming device found on Dauphin County ATM

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Police in Lower Paxton Township are searching for two masked men responsible for placing a skimming device on an ATM at a Central Credit Union.

According to police, on Nov. 24, officers responded to PA Central Credit Union for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that a skimming device was placed on an ATM.

Police obtained surveillance footage from the ATM showing two suspects wearing black ski masks placing the device on the machine.

Police said members of the community should remain vigilant when using ATMs, check their finances, and report any suspicious activity to LPBP at 717-657-5656.
