Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Mohan Majhi on Monday told the assembly that the state had 13,373 posts vacant in different police wings, while there were 481 vacancies in the fire service, till Sunday. Responding to a query from Laxmipur MLA Pabitra Saunta, the CM in a written reply informed the House that in different prisons, 862 posts were vacant. "For filling up the necessary vacant posts, there will be new recruitment and promotion," Majhi said.TNN
