Nalanda: A 60-year-old man, Indal Paswan, was shot dead over a land dispute near Sanda Bridge under Asthawan police station area of Nalanda district on Monday evening. The deceased, a resident of Dharhara village, was returning home after purchasing medicines from Biharsharif when he was attacked by two assailants. Asthawan PS in-Charge, Lalmuni Kumar, said, "The incident occurred over a land dispute. Indal's family had quarreled with some persons three days ago. His son, Ranjit Paswan, alleged that they are behind the murder. Further investigation is ongoing."
