Jaipur: Residents of Mahi Hostel of Rajasthan University ended their five-day protest against warden Jyoti Meena's reappointment after discussions with Civil Lines MLA and university syndicate member Gopal Sharma on Sunday.
Sharma provided assurance that their grievances would receive immediate attention. He said, "I shall present this matter to the vice-chancellor and the governor. A suitable solution will be implemented."
The students were complaining that Meena in her ealer stint as warden had neglected her duties and frequently intimidated and harassed the residents. tnn
