Patna: A car having Gujarat's registration number caught a fire after it hit a wall while trying to escape after hitting a bike at Gorakhnath lane on Boring Canal Road in Patna on Sunday. After the accident, the car driver in a panic tried to escape, causing minor injuries to a few people. Following this, some bystanders started pelting stones at the car, which crashed into a wall and caught fire. When the flames engulfed the vehicle, the occupants abandoned it and fled from the spot. Fire tenders arrived and doused the flames, district fire sub-divisional officer, Ajit Kumar said.
