2 die in crash on Interstate 43 in Manitowoc County Sunday morning

MANITOWOC – A crash early Sunday morning on southbound Interstate 43 resulted in the deaths of two people.

In a Facebook post Sunday morning, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office confirmed two people had died in the crash. The sheriff's office didn't immediately release further details, but said it would provide more information Monday after notifications to families had been made.

The crash happened near U.S. 10 and County JJ and resulted in the closure of southbound lanes for around seven hours.
