Jind: A man was allegedly shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Jind town Friday morning. The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Sanjay of Anchra Kalan village in the Safidon subdivision of Jind district.
Sanjay reportedly has multiple criminal cases against him, including on charges of murder, and was out on bail. He was traveling to Panipat for a court hearing when the incident happened. Upon receiving information about the incident, cops reached the spot and inspected the crime scene.
Man killed over cow dung cakes
In a related incident, four persons, including two brothers, allegedly attacked an elderly man with scissors and killed him following a dispute over cow dung cakes, at Bhaini Amirpur village in Narnaund area of Hisar district. The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Balbir Singh, a resident of Bhaini Amirpur village.
