Ahmedabad: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) on Friday announced the launch of a new daily bus service connecting Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport in Ahmedabad to Dhordo in Kutch. The service is set to commence this Saturday.
Dhordo, the gateway to the Rann of Kutch, is a major tourist destination with the white desert as the key attraction.
The 46-seater AC Volvo bus will depart from the Ahmedabad airport at 6 am every day, offering a convenient travel option for tourists and travellers heading to the popular Rann Utsav and other attractions in Kutch. The route includes a stop at Bhuj before reaching Dhordo.
This initiative is expected to boost tourism in the region, particularly during the Rann Utsav season, and provide seamless connectivity for travellers arriving at the Ahmedabad airport.
