Kanpur: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be in the city to take part in the Golden Jubilee Founders Day of Seth Anandram Jaipuria school on Dec 1. Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will also attend the celebrations as special guest.
Addressing media persons, Shishir Jaipuria, chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria group of educational institutions, said the event would also be graced by UP Governor Anandiben Patel, UP Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, and minister for MSME Rakesh Sachan. The dignitaries will also present awards to meritorious students, he said.
Principla of the school Shikha Bannerjee and vice-principal Ganesh Tiwari said that the celebrations will commence on on Nov 30 with the inauguration of the exhibition ‘Anveshika-The Quest For Excellence', followed by the cultural programme ‘Sparsh - The Healing Touch' which will be graced by Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan as the Guest of Honour. tnn
