Ahmedabad: The city experienced a drop in temperature on Saturday, with the minimum temperature dipping to 16 degrees celsius. However, this was 0.9 degrees higher than the normal temperature for this time of year.
Compared to Friday's minimum temperature of 18.1 degrees celsius, Saturday saw a 1.9-degree dip.
The maximum temperature also declined by 1.5 degrees, from 29.8 degrees celsius on Friday to 28.3 degrees celsius on Saturday. This was 3 degrees below the normal maximum temperature.
According to the India meteorological department (IMD), Sunday's minimum temperature is expected to hover around 17 degrees celsius. The forecast predicts a slight increase of 2-3 degrees over the subsequent four days.
In the state, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degrees celsius and the highest maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees celsius, resulting in a significant 19.6-degree temperature difference between day and night.
