Ranchi: CPI-ML's state standing committee convened in Ranchi on Friday to evaluate its performance in the recent assembly elections, focusing on the defeat in Bagodar constituency.
Party national general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, ex-MLA Binod Singh, and state secretary Manoj Bhakt led the discussions along with other senior leaders.
The party contested four seats — Rajdhanwar, Bagodar, Nirsa, and Sindri — securing victories in Nirsa and Sindri. Bhakt announced plans for a comprehensive booth-wise analysis of all four constituencies to identify political and social factors behind the results.
Regarding participation in the new govt, Bhakt said as a small party, CPI-ML's priority is the formation of an INDIA bloc state-level coordination committee where they can voice their concerns.
