WIRED is here to help you find the best Black Friday deals. Shop vetted deals with our expert reviewers during the biggest and best shopping day of the year.
At long last we have Black Friday deals—authentic Black Friday door busters, from the region of retail, not just sparkling holiday season discounts.
The WIRED Reviews team spends all year prepping for this week, our busiest of the year. We'll be live-blogging the best and most interesting deals for 20 hours today, so settle in and let us bring the bargains to you.
We aim to share the best deals we’ve spotted on the gear we’ve tested. That starts with only including products someone from our team has personally used, and continues through our deal-hunting process which uses proprietary price-tracking software supplemented with public price trackers. We spot real discounts on the products we've actually tested and actually like.

Cross Five People off Your Gift List With This Sol de Janeiro Bundle
Sol de Janeiro makes super-popular fragrances that are all over TikTok and Instagram. I actually have a tiny bottle of Cheirosa 40 in my purse at all times because it smells like a fairytale. This bundle includes five different Cheirosa scents in travel-size bottles. They'd be great to split apart in stockings, give as Secret Santa gifts, or donate to charity—especially since teens and adults are often overlooked in holiday donation drives. Each fragrance usually costs $25 apiece, so you're saving a lot by getting them in this bundle—though individual fragrances are slightly discounted thanks to Black Friday as well.
Best Buy Black Friday Just Hits Different
Best Buy will always be synonymous with Black Friday to me. I have a very vivid memory of bustin' the above doors at the then-shiny new electronics super store in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, back in 1996 or so. The print circulars in the phonebook-thick Thanksgiving Day edition of the Beacon Journal indicated that Best Buy would beat the prices down at Circuit City, so my late father and I went, and waited, out in the cold, for a car stereo or a cordless phone. I don't even remember what we bought. Like every electronic gadget I've owned, its usefulness was fleeting. But the memory of standing in line shivering and flooding into the hot store before dawn came back to me as I went back through those same doors earlier this week to pick up a TV.
Anyway, we've updated our post about best Black Friday deals at Best Buy.
Compact Keyboard, Big Feature Set
While I’m not sure I can give up my arrow keys, some folks at WIRED swear by smaller keyboards like the Razer Huntsman Mini. Less keys on the right side means you can keep your hands closer together in WASD/Mouse games, which can be more comfortable over long gaming sessions. More desk space also means more room to move your hand around, which can let you play at a lower DPI for more accuracy. If those sound appealing, the Huntsman Mini has everything you’d expect from a full size keyboard in terms of features, but at a price point that’s low enough to experiment with.
The Dyson Airwrap is $100 Off
The Dyson Airwrap (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of those beauty tools that seemingly everybody wants. That's probably because it works for so many different hair types and styling techniques—not all of them, but it comes close. It comes with six different attachments and a cute storage case. Use it to curl your hair or give yourself a blowout, or to style those pesky bangs that you're still growing out post-quarantine.
Premium Buds That Let You Hear Everything
When I first tried Bose’s Ultra Open Earbuds (7/10, WIRED Recommends), they had some connection issues and a price that felt out of touch for earbuds that always let the world in. Bose has since fixed the connection troubles, and I’ve fallen for these buds. I still think their price is high, but damn if they’re not fabulously convenient. They’ve become my go-to buds for everything from chores around the house to hikes, dog walks, and anytime I want to feel connected. Their unique design fits securely and comfortably, and their sound is better than anything else in the open-ear genre. There’s not a ton of bass, and you’ve got to swap them out for tasks that need noise-canceling, like vacuuming, mowing the lawn, or simply checking out. But if you’ve got the cash for buds that always keep you in the know, these are my favorites.
If You Move Fast You Can Save on Roblox Gift Cards
Pardon the formatting, but I'm typing like Bruce Almighty over here. There's currently a Lightning Deal that gets you a $50 physical Roblox Gift Card for $40. That's a really easy way to save some cash if your little one is addicted to Dress to Impress and constantly asking you (or Santa) for Robux. The deal is 30 percent claimed as of press time so move quickly if you're interested.
Herman Miller’s 25 Percent off Sale Means a Cheaper Aeron or Embody
If you can spring for it, a Herman Miller office chair is game-changing. The Embody was one of my earliest home office purchases (during the pandemic) and it genuinely helped reduce my back pain after years of sitting on a cheap gaming chair. The 25 percent off promotion is one of the steepest sales I’ve seen and it’s not just on the Embody—which is the Luxe pick in our Best Office Chairs guide—but also everything else Herman Miller has to offer sitewide. Consider the classic Herman Miller Aeron if the Embody is not your speed, now $1,353 ($452 off) (you can knock even more off if you customize some of the options).
But again, office chairs are just one thing Herman Miller is known for. Now might be the day you finally decide, “Yes, I will buy the Eames.” The deals expire on December 4.
The Viral Sunrise Alarm Clock is On Sale
The question I’m getting left and right lately is if I’ve tried the Hatch—specifically, the Hatch Restore 2, an alarm clock that can double as a sunrise alarm and a sound machine. Sunrise clocks are fantastic to help you fall asleep and wake up easier, with the help of slowly dimming and brightening light to replicate the sun to wake you, and the Hatch is a great alarm clock and especially a great sound machine. It comes with one of the biggest arrangements of sounds and the option for a membership to get things like sleep stories and partnership content (I feel directly targeted by the Gilmore Girls audio they have). I think it’s best as a sound machine, as it doesn’t get as bright as other sunrise alarm clocks I’ve tested, but the Black Friday deal is great if you’ve been wanting to snag this bedside gadget. Even with a dimmer light, I still slept great and roused more gently with it.
Some of Our Most Beloved Lululemon Gear is On Sale for Black Friday
Lululemon gear is, unfortunately, really good in general. I say “unfortunately” because it also tends to be quite expensive. Luckily, Black Friday discounts have reached even the trendiest of athleisure brands, and a lot of gear that we at WIRED like is on sale right now.
The Scuba Oversize Half-Zip, featured in our Best Hoodies guide, is down to $84 ($34 off). Gear team members also like the Wunder Train High-Rise tights for $49 ($49 off) and the Align joggers for $59 ($59 off). If someone on your list has lots of Lululemon, this sale is worth checking out. Even if that someone is yourself.
You Might Want to Try a Boar Bristle Hairbrush
I discovered the world of boar bristle brushes while researching dry shampoo alternatives for an upcoming guide to the Best Dry Shampoo. Because boar bristles are made of keratin like human hair, while brushing, oils are more easily and evenly distributed along the hair shaft from root to tip, which allows styles to stay fresh for longer. I also happen to straighten my hair daily (read about my favorite flat irons in our guide to the Best Hair Straighteners) and discovered that, unlike synthetic-fiber brushes, boar bristle brushes actually do not cause my straightened hair to frizz. The Altesse Beaute Repair & Shine brush is definitely on the more expensive end of the spectrum for a boar brush (it’s usually $320), but it’s 25 percent off at Nordstrom for Black Friday and is meant to be heirloom quality—Altesse brushes have been made in France since 1875. It may be the one thing your hair-obsessed loved one doesn’t yet have in their arsenal.
A Tiny Tablet for On the Go
After what feels like forever, Apple finally launched an all-new version of the iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) back in October and it’s already on sale. Although the hardware remains the same on the outside, it comes with several upgrades on the inside. Thanks to the A17 Pro chip, it’s capable of handling graphically demanding games and Apple Intelligence (Apple’s suite of artificial intelligence features with iOS 18.1). The base model now packs double the storage too, starting at 128 gigabytes. It packs support for the Apple Pencil Pro too, which is the company’s most feature-packed stylus. All of this is crammed into a small, compact tablet that’s perfect for taking notes, reading ebooks, playing mobile games, and more while on the go.
That Human Dog Bed Thing is On Sale
Sharing this for loyal WIRED readers: That human dog bed thing we awarded a rare 9/10 review and have provided dedicated deals coverage of is on sale.
If you're in the market for a human dog beg (perhaps for yourself, perhaps for a large dog!) now is the time to strike as you can save $60 with which you can buy this human-grade dog food.
Spend The Whole Winter in This Gigantic Wearable Blanket
Note: On Amazon, clip the coupon to save.
I’m a certified Big Blanket Co stan, here to tell you that a cozier world is possible. If I ran for mayor, I’d campaign on the idea that everyone should be wearing the Hideout Hoodie all the time. It’s massive on my 5’1” frame, coming down past my knees, but it’d hit mid-thigh if you’re taller. It’s unbelievably soft and plush on the outside and inside. There’s a giant kangaroo pocket with zippers on either side so my snacks and Nintendo Switch stay secure when I’m moving from the couch to the bed to the fridge and back again. The oversize hood has a built-in mask for when I inevitably get too cozy and take a little nap. Did I mention that in addition to solid colors, it comes in patterns like unicorns and dinosaurs? Did I mention that the sleeve cuffs have thumb holes? Did I mention that it’s machine-washable? My only complaint is that it isn’t socially acceptable to wear this literally everywhere, all winter long. Maybe change starts with me.
Yeti Has One of It's Most Popular Coolers on Sale
In our guide to the best coolers we pick the newer and smaller Yeti 32 as the best roller cooler but this Yeti is a reliable classic and it's on sale for $100 off.
Yeti coolers are of course famed for their durability and the fact they they'll keep ice longer than we dreamed possible before rotomolded coolers took over and this one can be rolled around as needed and, unlike the 32, will hold what you need for a weekend trip without any fancy packing techniques.
Once you're a Yeti person don't forget the hat.
Our Very Favorite Binoculars Are (Almost) Cheaper Than Ever
Okay, so technically, the Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 binoculars have sold for $8 less. But when something usually sells for $290, eight dollars doesn't seem like that big of a missed opportunity. These are our favorite binoculars. They offer great bang for your buck and are perfect for people getting started in the World of Magnification. They're powerful but clear, with little distortion, so they're a very good pick for aspiring birders. These have enough power for most people, but if you're looking for more specific recommendations, check out our guide.
We Love This John Boos Cutting Board, Especially at This Price
There comes a time in every chef's life when they realize their cutting board just isn't, well, cutting it. Maybe it constantly slides all over the counter or maybe it just isn't big enough. This John Boos board is one of our favorite gifts for home chefs. It's visually stunning and with proper care it will outlive you. WIRED's Scott Gilbertson received his as a gift 15 years ago and it's still trucking along. This board is made up of end pieces, which resist and hide blade marks while keeping your knives sharp for longer. The board is quite big and heavy, but the recessed finger grooves on either side will help you get a grip.
Save $50 on the Beats Fit Pro
The Beats Fit Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) aren't AirPods, but they're still some of our favorite wireless earbuds for iPhone owners. They're comfortable and they stay put securely while you're listening, even if you're bobbing your head. The sound quality is fantastic for the price and the battery lasts for six hours if you're using active noise cancelling the whole time. They have a built-in M1 chip for easy iOS pairing, but also play well with Android, and they're available in a few different eye-catching colors. We've never seen them on sale for less.
Three Months of Quest+ Sweetens this Meta Quest 3S Deal
Having bought a Meta Quest 3 within the last year, I have to admit I’ve used it a lot more than I thought I would. While the virtual world may be overrun with kids, I’ve found my own little slice of peace hitting the virtual links in Walkabout VR Mini-Golf. The current generation of Quest headsets are a huge jump from the previous, between the totally smooth standalone performance, and the improved lenses and resolution. For $300 you’ll get a Quest 3S, Batman: Arkham Shadow, and three months of Meta Quest+, which I’ve found really worthwhile for trying out new games and slowly amassing a library.
A Great Deal on My Favorite Mobile Gaming Controller
Thanks to the Backbone One (8/10, WIRED Recommends), I was able to put hundreds of hours into Stardew Valley—playing on my freaking iPhone. Before the recent 1.6 update. This mobile gaming controller is so good, I’m still reaching for it years after reviewing it. It’s so good that I bought one myself when I misplaced the review unit. It’s so good that I might buy an AirTag for it so I never misplace it again. The buttons are clicky and responsive but not too loud, the grips feel good in my hands, and the companion app is full of great suggestions on games to download next. There’s pass-through charging and a headphone jack. You can even press a single button to start Twitch streaming on iOS devices. Let me rephrase: The Backbone One is so good that I just might start streaming on Twitch. Make sure you pick the right model for your phone’s charging port.
File This Electric Nail Drill Under ‘Absolute Best Deals’
More and more people are investing in at-home manicures, and if you’re one of those people, the MelodySusie Electric Nail Drill Machine is an essential. Compact yet powerful, this nail drill boasts a 20,000 RPM rotary motor that’s adjustable to all your nail care needs: shaping, buffing, grinding, polishing, and cuticle-ling (should be a word). It comes with six metal drill bits and sanding bands to handle everything from acrylic and dip to poly gel and natural nails. Did I mention it’s only half-off?
