Prayagraj: On his one-day visit to Sangam city, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday met the family members of the late Justice (retd) Giridhar Malviya, chancellor of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and great-grandson of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
The CM offered his condolences, highlighting Giridhar Malviya's invaluable contributions to the nation as a distinguished figure in education and justice. He also paid homage to the late leader by garlanding his statue and remembering his exemplary work. Giridhar Malviya passed away recently in the city after a prolonged illness.
During his interaction with Malviya's family, the CM extended his heartfelt sympathies, acknowledging the legacy of Giridhar Malviya. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya accompanied CM Yogi during his visit.
