Bengaluru: The much-anticipated Aero India 2025, a premier aerospace and defence exhibition, in Bengaluru promises to be an electrifying display of technological innovation and aerial prowess. Set to take place between Feb 10 and 14 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, the biennial event will demonstrate India's growing significance in the global aerospace and defence landscape.
The exhibition has been strategically designed to cater to different audiences. The first three days are for business visitors, providing a platform for networking, forging partnerships, and exploring cutting-edge technological innovations. The final two days will welcome the general public, offering aviation enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the magic of flight and aerospace technology up close.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the event from 9am to 6pm daily, with the added excitement of twice a day air show. These spectacular displays will showcase the incredible skills of Indian Air Force and other aerobatic teams.
For those planning to attend, the organisers have provided several practical tips to ensure a comfortable experience: Arriving early, wearing comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for extensive walking, bringing sun protection, carrying some cash as backup for digital payments, and bringing a valid govt ID for security checks.
The 2023 edition of Aero India had attracted 809 exhibitors, showcased 53 aircraft, and drawn more than 7 lakh visitors. The event saw participation from 27 countries in the Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers' Conclave and facilitated more than 250 memorandums of understanding and partnerships valued at over Rs 75,000 crore. Additionally, Rs 200 crore was pledged at the inaugural iDEX Investor Hub, underscoring the event's potential to drive innovation and investment in the aerospace sector.
With roots tracing back to 1996, Aero India has consistently been organised by the defence exhibition organisation, department of defence production, and defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited under the ministry of defence.
