Varanasi: A 51-member team from BHU showcased their skills in various cultural, literary and artistic competitions and took part in a grand cultural procession at the ‘Central Zone Youth Festival – Gaur Utsav', at Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) from Nov 26 to 30.
BHU spokesperson said during the cultural procession, the BHU team evoked enthusiasm and excitement with slogans like ‘Mahamana's Wish, Harmony-Harmony'. The procession featured a live depiction of the famous Ganga Aarti of Kashi and also presented the Wellbeing Services Cell.
Under ‘Gaur Utsav', BHU team participated in various competitions like dance, music, debates, theatre and art.
