Ahmedabad: The national learning outcome test will be conducted on Dec 4, from 11am to 1pm, for students in Classes 3, 6, and 9 in select govt, grant-in-aid and private schools in the state. Educational institutions have received directives to implement the exam following a standardised schedule. External assessors will conduct the evaluation in designated schools and collect feedback from teachers and students. A practice assessment will be conducted on Nov 30 to prepare the students for the test.
To ensure assessment integrity, the test will be conducted across all participating schools in a synchronised manner, following precedents from previous national learning outcome tests.
The initial mock tests were conducted on Oct 22. Schools have been asked to schedule their timings to ensure the assessment process begins at 10.30am for all.
Classes 3 and 6 will be assessed from 11am to 12.30pm, while Class 9 students' test will extend until 1pm. For the test, six-month attendance records had been sought from the schools, sources said. Schools with low attendance rates have been advised to ensure sufficient student presence during the assessment. Feedback will be collected from students, teachers and head teachers after the test.
