Mysuru: Sri Datta Vijayananda Thirtha Swami, the junior pontiff of the Avadhoota Datta Peetham, on Wednesday inaugurated Kangaroo Care Fertility Centre, an advanced medical facility aimed at delivering premium fertility treatment services, in Mysuru.
The spiritual leader commended the hospital administration for establishing the facility, which offers hope to couples struggling with childlessness and ensures superior healthcare outcomes.
During the event, the senior neonatologist, who serves as CEO and founder director of Kangaroo Care, highlighted that the newly established unit features cutting-edge medical equipment to assist families seeking parenthood.
The centre provides sophisticated procedures including in vitro fertilisation and intrauterine insemination, along with advanced surgical options such as hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures. The facility also offers comprehensive support through physiotherapy, counselling, and nutritional guidance, ensuring holistic care throughout the treatment process.
Dr HK Swathi, an OBG and laparoscopic surgeon, addressed the gathering and explained that infertility stems from various factors including delayed marriages, occupational stress, environmental contamination, and dietary patterns.
Dr MR Jayaram, chairman of Gokula Education Foundation, and Dr Suraj, Dr Lakshman, Dr Manjunath, Dr Rama Priya, Dr Leelavathi, and Dr Arif were present.
