Prayagraj's 2025 Mahakumbh Mela prepares to welcome 45 crore devotees with grand preparations. Seven Akharas, nine VIP camps resembling palaces, and enhanced security measures with nine new police stations are being established. The 100-foot entrance gates will showcase India's cultural heritage, promising a majestic experience for all visitors.
PRAYAGRAJ: To ensure a majestic and unique experience for saints, seers, kalpwasis, and devotees from across the world, the Kumbh Mela authorities have set up a dedicated area for seven Akharas, while the construction of nine police stations and five outposts is nearing completion to ensure seamless security.
Adding to the allure are nine VIP camps, designed to rival grand royal palaces. These camps feature luxurious 14x28-foot rooms equipped with all modern amenities, promising a cherished experience for international and domestic visitors.
Along with seers and saints, over 45 crore devotees from across the country and abroad are expected to attend the 2025 Mahakumbh beginning on January 13. Moreover, one of the highlights will be the grand entrance gates, which will be 100 feet long and showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
Additionally, the VIP camp designed as a Maharaja tent is set to be a major attraction for tourists. Work is progressing rapidly in Arail, where a new Circuit House is also under construction, along with three newly built police stations.
The work at the Jhunsi police line is also progressing fast. Once completed, the mela area will shine with new developments in sectors stretching from Samudrakoop to Sadhu Kuti.
The construction of camps for saints and devotees from across the country and abroad is progressing rapidly. Steel frames and iron pipes are being used in the camps, with a strong emphasis on both their aesthetic appeal and structural stability. Special attention is being given to ensure that the devotees experience no inconvenience during their stay.
