Chandigarh: National Health Mission (NHM) staff in Punjab on Tuesday asked health minister Dr Balbir Singh to address their demands of regularising services and revising pay. In a meeting with the minister on Tuesday, a delegation of NRHM Employees’ Association said several decisions taken in their favour in meetings with the state govt in recent years had not been implemented. The delegation, led by Dr Inderjit Singh Rana, sought immediate action and proposed interim measures, including gratuity, family insurance, medical reimbursement, timely salary revisions for lower cadres and more. tnn
