Aizawl: Chief minister Lalduhoma on Tuesday announced a series of measures aimed at improving governance and accountability in the education department during a review meeting in Aizawl. The meeting assessed the department's ongoing initiatives and charted a roadmap for efficient service delivery.
Lalduhoma, expressing gratitude to district officers who attended the meeting in person, emphasized that the session was not just about addressing shortcomings but also gaining a clearer understanding of operational challenges. "We aim to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inefficiencies systematically," he said.
The chief minister highlighted the role of the state project monitoring committee, which has reviewed nearly 40 ongoing projects and flagged areas requiring immediate attention.
Stressing the importance of oversight, he said, "The Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) government will ensure projects are executed with proper planning and strict monitoring to achieve their intended impact."
