Noida: With air quality deteriorating, UP education department has decided to postpone govt assessment exams for primary schools in eight districts within NCR, including GB Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli. The order was issued by the director of school education and state project officer. The district administration announced online classes for Tuesday.

"The basic education officer of Bulandshahr, GB Nagar and Shamli requested an amendment in the dates of the Nipun Assessment Test in view of Stage-4 of GRAP in the district. It is directed that the conduct of NAT in the districts covered by the National Capital Region (NCR) - Meerut, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, and Shamli is being postponed from Nov 25 to 28, 2024, due to unavoidable reasons. The revised date of conduct of the Nipun Assessment Test for the said districts will be sent separately," read the official order. TNN
