Patna: Railways has decided to run a special train (01481/01482) between Danapur and Pune on November 27 and 28 to clear the continuous rush, including of students.
According to East Central Railway's chief public relations officer Saraswati Chandra, the special train will leave Danapur at 6.30am and reach Pune at 5.35pm the next day, with stoppages at Ara, Buxar and DDU. On its return, it will leave Pune at 7.55pm and reach Danapur the next to next day at 4.30am. The Danapur-Pune special special train will run with a load composition of two 3AC, eight sleeper and six general coaches, besides two brake vans.
In addition, the railways has decided to restore the services of Islampur-New Delhi Magadh Express (20801/20802) from Tuesday. Earlier, the railways had announced that the Magadh Express would be short-terminated at Patna Junction till January 5, 2025.
The railways have also restored the services of Purnia Court-Amritsar Janseva Express (14617) from Tuesday.
