Hyderabad: BRS will commemorate ‘Deeksha Diwas' on November 29, marking the anniversary of K Chandrasekhar Rao's fast-unto-death in 2009 for the creation of Telangana. Addressing reporters, KTR said, "Party leaders and members will observe the day across the state, with events at all 33 district offices led by senior officials."
KTR stressed the need for unity to protect the state from the current Congress govt.Although KCR will not attend the Deeksha Diwas, the party plans to gather in Medchal on December 9 to unveil a statue of Telangana Thalli to mark conclusion of event. tnn.
