2025 IPL Auction highlights: After two days of intense bidding at the IPL 2025 mega auction, the 10 teams spend a cumulative sum of ₹639.15 cr. The money spent was used to buy players 182 including 62 overseas players.
Pant became the most expensive buy of all-time as Lucknow Super Giants bought him for ₹27 crore. Punjab Kings invested ₹26.75 crore on Shreyas Iyer and made him the league's second most expensive player. They bought Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh for ₹18 crore each. And Venkatesh Iyer for was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹23.75 crore.
