Kanika Tiwari has joined Swiggy, the Indian online food ordering and delivery company, as the Head of Monetization for its quick commerce service, Swiggy Instamart.
Before joining Swiggy, Tiwari was with Flipkart for eight years. She began her journey with the Indian e-commerce company as a Management Trainee in Brand Ads Solutions in December 2016 and progressively rose through multiple roles. Her most recent position was Director of Strategy and Growth for Flipkart Ads, a role she took on in September 2024.
She announced the news of her appointment in a LinkedIn post. In her post, she reminisced about her time at Flipkart and shared her enthusiasm for the role ahead. She said, “I want to thank Flipkart for the opportunities and experiences gained during my tenure. I am grateful to all the leaders I got to work with, who helped me become the professional I am today.”

Kanika Tiwari started her professional journey in June 2011 as an Engineer at Ericsson. She then transitioned to Rivigo, where she worked as a Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager from June 2016 to December 2016.
