RANCHI: A high-level meeting was convened on Monday to discuss and finalize preparations for the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of the chief minister and cabinet members of Jharkhand State. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Varun Ranjan, was held at his Morhabadi office.
Senior district administration officials, including Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha and Deputy Development Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav, participated in the comprehensive planning session.The ceremony is scheduled to take place at Morhabadi Ground, Ranchi, on November 28, 2024, and is expected to draw large crowds from across the state.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed review of various aspects of the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of timely completion of all arrangements. Key focus areas included security measures, transportation logistics, accommodation for out-of-state guests, and essential facilities for attendees. Specific instructions were given regarding VIP movement, parking management, and the establishment of a control room.
Following the meeting, Ranjan personally inspected the venue at Morhabadi Ground to assess the ongoing preparations. The inspection team included senior police officials and administrative officers who will be responsible for different aspects of the event.
Special attention is being given to crowd management and security arrangements, considering the anticipated participation of numerous dignitaries and citizens. The administration has planned for various facilities including mobile toilets, drinking water stations, and fire safety measures.
The District Administration has emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all departments to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony. A minute-to-minute program schedule has been prepared, and all concerned officers have been directed to maintain strict adherence to the planned timeline.
