Prayagraj: The UP Secondary Education Board has extended the deadline for finalising the list of exam centres for conducting the board exams of class 10 and 12. The deadline for finalising the list, earlier fixed as Nov 28, has now been postponed to Dec 7. The exams will start on Feb 24, 2025.
Earlier, the Board had relaxed the dates for inspection of the exam centres by the district centre determination committee.The committee ascertains the facilities at the list of centres uploaded on the basis of basic information of schools certified/updated by the Tehsil level committee constituted at the level of district magistrate.
The district inspector of schools (DIoS) will take objections on the list of the selected centres online from students, parents, principals and managers and the same will be available on the board's portal upmsp.edu.in. Earlier its last date was November 6.
After completing the entire procedure and resolving the objections on the examination centres designated online through software, the list received from the district committee will be uploaded on the UP board's website. In case of nay more objections, they will be taken directly on the portal till Dec 2. Earlier its last date was November 20. After resolving these objections, the final list will be released on the board's website by Dec 7.
A total of 54,32,519 candidates are registered for the high school and intermediate examinations. "The exams for both high school and intermediate will start simultaneously from Feb 24, 2025, and culminate on March 12, 2025," announced UP Board secretary, Bhagwati Singh.
